Amity is the best!!! She helped me with my kitchen renovation. She provided us with 3 different design plans. All 3 were excellent and we ended up picking from 2 plans what we liked. She also provided a schedule for the project. We had a few problems during the renovation and Amity worked with the contractor and the cabinet company to come up with workable solutions. She put in lighting for artwork display on two walls and at first I did not want to do this. She provided me with ideas and what would look good on the walls and I am so happy I did this. It totally makes the kitchen. She also helped to pick out items to display on the island and the counters to finish the look. I could not have done this without Amity. If you need help with a project, she is the person for the job.

My wife and I met Niki Milliken in June of 2024, shortly after we signed a contract for a full house remodel with a design build firm in Danville. This was to be an extensive remodel- front to back, inside and out, floor to ceiling. It was a massive undertaking, and Niki was our Lead Design Manager, overseeing every part of it.
Thankfully for us, she was completely up for the task!
From our very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Niki listened closely to our ideas and out taste, but she also wasn’t afraid to gently push back when she thought we were headed in the wrong direction-and she always explained her reasoning as a designer, not just a random opinion.
Of all the things she designed for us, one still catches us almost every night. It’s the large flat screen TV, perfectly matches above a linear fireplace in our living room, framed by unique wooden slats with indirect lighting on either side. We watch TV in front of it most evenings, and we still can’t help but think of Niki every time we sit down.
We love our finished house. But maybe the truest measure of working with Niki is this: despite every trial that comes with a remodel this size, we became friends with her on day one- and we are still are today.
Niki has started her own design firm, Capria Collective, and if you’re looking for a very talented designer who will turn your dream home into reality, we highly recommend her with out the slightest reservation.

Amity has assisted us with a redesign of a family room and is still assisting us with a complete remodel of a different home. She has worked non stop to assure that her designs have been completed and have maintained her high standards. She is the utmost professional, who is willing to "go the extra mile" for her clients! I would highly recommend her to anyone embarking on a new project!
